Brian's style has been likened to that of Alex Lifeson (Rush), Jimmy Page and Toni Iommi and with good reason as these were some of his earlier influences. During the late 80s and early 90s, Brian was doing all original music with the bands Ransom and The Rest and has banged out several studio recordings some of which received favorable reviews nationally and aired on radio stations both nationally and in 3 foreign countries (Canada, Belgium and France). He has had the opportunity to twice open for Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad Fame, The Newsboys and Tempest. Brian, along with his two daughters Jennifer Eckhart and Alicia Klotz, released a CD project titled ReCreated Christmas, which has also had favorable reviews and airplay nationwide as well as in Canada and has also been sold to someone in Japan! Ah... Sauki and Sushi!!! (although Chinese is still one of his favorite foods)... There's just something about CAT! mmm! Currently Brian is playing Paul Reed Smith & Fender Electrics through Fender Hot Rod Series amplification and Taylor Acoustics. Check out a few of Brian's other endeavors! More to come!
